Welcome Cocktails
Monday 18.00
Join us in the Vidamar foyer on Monday at 18.00 for a cocktail or two (or three) and a warm welcome to our tournament and our beautiful island.
Traditional dinner and folk dancing
Wednesday 20.45
An evening of true Madeiran fare, with folk music and dance in traditional costume (you can join in too). Wednesday after the second session of the Open Pairs (coaches leave Vidamar 20.15).
Gala dinner and Prizegiving
Sunday 20.30
Join us for a relaxing drink after the hurly-burly of the Open Teams, then in the Vidamar dining room where you will enjoy a superb three-course dinner with good wines, followed by the prizegiving and a disco (dancing optional).

Looking for an easy and breathtaking walk in Madeira? Come and explore Levada do Alecrim, a stunning trail in the heart of Rabaçal. This peaceful 1.5 to 2-hour hike takes you through lush green landscapes, alongside crystal-clear water channels, and leads to the beautiful Lagoa da Dona Beja, a hidden lagoon with a refreshing waterfall.
Perfect for all ages, this trail offers a relaxing way to connect with nature while enjoying incredible views. After the walk, a delicious lunch is included.

Experience the best of Madeira on this guided tour! We begin at Ribeiro Frio, where you can visit the trout farm and enjoy the beautiful Miradouro viewpoint, followed by a short hike along the Balções Trail. Next, we head to Santana to see the iconic traditional Madeiran houses.
Then enjoy a delicious lunch at the Quinta do Furão Hotel where you will have an incredible view. Afterwards we will visit the stunning Faial Miradouro before heading to Pipa for a taste of the island’s traditional Poncha and a short, breathtaking coastal walk.

As you search for the ideal spot, the dolphins make their appearance, playful, chatty, and full of energy. This three-hour wildlife experience will stay with you for years to come. If you’re lucky, you might also spot whales, turtles and seabirds. On a sunny day, you can even take a refreshing swim.
If the winds are favourable, we’ll turn off the engines and let the breeze carry us. This unforgettable adventure is something everyone should experience at least once in their life.
